Light does not work after retrofit – checklist

6 min read·30 Jul 2026

Check plug side, length and variant, CT22 and pack contents in order. The list is a set of checks, not a diagnosis of the complete vehicle.

Checklist

  1. Is the system-side end on the correct port? (BES3 blue / Yamaha system plug / Micro M / open end — per article)
  2. Is the light side correct? CT1B only with a CT1 / Higo Micro B compatible headlight; otherwise check an open-end variant.
  3. Are length and system variant correct (EAN/art. no. vs invoice)?
  4. For open ends: CT22 used for 0.4–0.7 mm and 2-2 polarity correct?
  5. Is voltage present at the light output? We do not state meter limits here — they are in the documentation for the drive and the headlight.
  6. Was a workshop/single article mixed up? Same tech, different contents/quantity.

If the checklist does not help, contact us or a specialist workshop and check the requirements of the drive and the lighting. Compatibility describes the connector interface, not the function of the complete vehicle.
