Frequently asked questions
- For which drive systems does futurelectric offer light cables?
- We manufacture light cables for Bosch Smart System (BES3), Shimano, Yamaha PW-X3 / PW Series S2 and Avinox M1 & M2, plus universal versions with open cable ends. Bosch, Yamaha and Avinox cables carry a system plug on the drive side. The Shimano and universal cables have an open cable end there and are joined to the existing light cable with the supplied CT22 single-wire connector. The compatibility page lists the matching articles for every system.
- Which headlights can I connect with futurelectric cables?
- Our system cables end on the headlight side with the CT1B plug (HIGO Micro B Male compatible). It connects headlights with a CT1 plug (Litemove), Lupine headlights with a HIGO plug and the Supernova Power-Connection-System. If your headlight has open cable ends instead, choose a cable version with an open end and join it with the CT22 single-wire connector. Check the technical requirements of light and motor before installation.
- Who are futurelectric cable systems intended for?
- We develop our cable systems for professional workshop use — for OEM fitment as well as retrofit. The resulting connection is mechanically firm, moisture-resistant, electrically safe and vibration-proof; the materials are PVC-free, and the cables meet the legally required RoHS substance restriction. Every cable specification is available as a single pack and as a workshop pack of ten.
- Where can I find technical datasheets?
- Under Downloads you can search the datasheet by EAN or article number. The full technical data is also on every product page: connection type, dimensions, insulation and contact material, temperature range, wire gauge, ingress protection, certifications, withstanding voltage and maximum plug current.
