Which variant to choose

Choose the CT1B variant (400 mm) when the headlight has a CT1 / Higo Micro B compatible plug. Choose open ends (300 mm) when you work with CT22 or another proper joint. Choose the Y cable when front and rear lights should connect via two open ends.

We verify connector compatibility ourselves (as of 2026-07-30). That means the mechanical and electrical plug interface — not further properties of the drive or the headlight. Before installation, check the requirements of the drive system and the lighting. If you are unsure, contact us or have the work done by a specialist workshop.

Step by step

  1. Check Avinox M1/M2 and the chosen light side on the headlight: CT1B (AVHG01CT1Bc40b) or open ends (AVHG01c30b / YCHG01c30b).
  2. Power down. Connect the Micro M / HG01 plug to the system.
  3. CT1B variant: seat the CT1B plug on the headlight. This cable has no open ends and no CT22.
  4. Open variant (AVHG01c30b): join the open ends properly; the single pack includes 1× CT22. Workshop pack without CT22 — order art. no. CT22-BO100 (100-piece box) separately.
  5. Y cable (YCHG01c30b): assign both light branches; the single pack includes 2× CT22. Workshop pack without CT22 — order art. no. CT22-BO100 (100-piece box) separately. Secure without tension or abrasion.
  6. Check the function according to the instructions for the drive and the light. If you are unsure, contact us or have the installation done by a specialist workshop.
Cable routing on Avinox: Higo Micro M system plug at the drive, CT1B at the handlebar

Routing from the Higo Micro M system plug (Avinox M1 & M2) to the headlight plug (CT1B).

Common mistakes

  • Wrong light side: AVHG01CT1Bc40b (CT1B) will not fit headlights without a CT1 / Higo Micro B compatible plug — choose AVHG01c30b or Y instead.
  • Expecting CT22 with the CT1B variant: AVHG01CT1Bc40b has no open ends and no CT22 in the pack (neither single EAN …084 nor workshop EAN …206).
  • Expecting CT22 in open-end workshop packs: EAN …190 and …183 contain cables only; CT22 is only in single packs …091 (1×) and …077 (2×). Order separately for the workshop: art. no. CT22-BO100 (100-piece box).
  • Mixing workshop and single-pack EANs: same tech per variant, different quantity.
