What this covers

Our headlight cable connects an open cable end at the light port to a CT1B plug (HIGO Micro B Male compatible). It is intended for Shimano STEPS and other motor systems with an open end — without a proprietary system plug on the drive.

What is in the box

Two packaging options, same cable specification per length. Example 1300 mm: single pack includes 1× cable plus 1× futurelectric CT22 2-2 single-wire connector (0.4–0.7 mm). Workshop pack: 10× cables — without CT22. Same pattern for 1900 mm and 2300 mm. For open ends in the workshop, connectors can or must be ordered separately: art. no. CT22-BO100 (100× per box).

This cable is for retrofitting lighting compatible with Litemove and brands with a Higo Micro B compatible plug. Suitable for: Litemove headlights with CT1 plug, Lupine with HIGO plug, and Supernova Power-Connection-System.

We verify connector compatibility ourselves (as of 2026-07-30). The statement describes the mechanical and electrical plug interface. It is not a warranty of further properties. Before installation, check the technical requirements of the drive system and the lighting. If unsure: use a specialist workshop.

Step by step

  1. Power down the drive and lighting. Check Shimano STEPS and headlight manufacturer requirements.
  2. Connect the open cable end to the drive light port properly. Single pack: CT22 0.4–0.7 mm included. Workshop pack: no CT22 included — order connectors separately as 100-piece box art. no. CT22-BO100.
  3. Seat the CT1B plug on the headlight with a CT1 or Higo Micro B compatible interface.
  4. Route the cable without tension, kinks or abrasion. Length: 1300 / 1900 / 2300 mm by article.
  5. Function-test per drive and light instructions. Consult a workshop if unsure.

Common mistakes

  • Wrong length: measure the route; 1300 / 1900 / 2300 mm are fixed sizes, not a blanket recommendation.
  • Headlight without a CT1 / Higo Micro B compatible plug: the CT1B light side will not match.
  • Mixing workshop and single-pack EANs: same tech per length, different quantity; CT22 only in the single pack — for the workshop order art. no. CT22-BO100 (100-piece box) separately.
