We verify connector compatibility ourselves (as of 2026-07-30). That means the mechanical and electrical plug interface — not further properties of the drive or the headlight. Before installation, check the requirements of the drive system and the lighting. If you are unsure, contact us or have the work done by a specialist workshop.

Step by step

  1. Power down the drive and lighting. Check Yamaha PW-X3 / PW Series S2 and headlight requirements.
  2. Connect the system plug to the Yamaha system light port. The cable is 1300 mm long and ends in the CT1B plug on the light side.
  3. Seat the CT1B plug on the headlight with a CT1 or Higo Micro B compatible interface.
  4. Route the cable without tension, kinks or abrasion. Length: 1300 mm.
  5. Check the function according to the instructions for the drive and the light. If you are unsure, contact us or have the installation done by a specialist workshop.

Routing from the system plug (Yamaha PW-X3 / PW Series S2) to the headlight plug (CT1B).

Common mistakes

  • Wrong motor system: this cable applies to Yamaha PW-X3 / PW Series S2. Other Yamaha variants are not covered.
  • Headlight without a CT1 / Higo Micro B compatible plug: the CT1B light side will not match.
  • Mixing workshop and single-pack EANs: same tech, different quantity and packaging.
